Fallo! (aka 'Private')

by Brian

Fallo! is a collection of six erotic vignettes, each written and directed by Tinto Brass. It is similar in style to another collection of erotic vignettes called PO Box Tinto Brass, but Fallo! suffers from weaker scripting and often insufferable dialog. But there are the usual copious amounts of nudity and near-hardcore sex (and in one particular case, actual hardcore sex) that Tinto fans have come to know and expect.

Alibi
Sara Cosmi and Massimiliano Caroletti star as a married couple vacationing in Morocco. He's looking to spice things up by introducing a third party into their lovemaking, but she prefers to reminisce about a trip to the gynecologist, where the doctor (quite explicitly) inserts his finger into her vagina. Later, her husband gets her drunk and sneaks one of the hotel attendants in the room to join in. She realizes what is happening, and since this is Tinto's world, she is overjoyed and enthusiastic about the whole thing and prepares for what is surely to be the most earth-shattering orgasm of her life.

Montaggio Alternato (Double Trouble)
Silvia Rossi, Max Parodi, Federica Tommasi, and Andrea Nobili star as two couples having affairs, each thinking that the other is unaware of it. The explicitness goes up a notch when Federica performs oral sex on Nobili, and the plastic penis Brass usually uses for scenes like this gets left in the prop drawer in favor of a real one. There is also a shot of simulated cum dripping down the side of Rossi's face after she pleasures Parodi in the shower.

2 Cuori & 1 Capanna (2 Hearts and a Hut)
The buxom Raffaella Ponzo stars as Katrina, a chambermaid for an older couple, Frau Bertha and Herr Otto (Virginia Barrett and Leo Mantovani), working to raise money for her boyfriend's B&B. Her duties go beyond cleaning though, as she indulges the S&M desires and bizarre sexual whims of her employers for generous tips. She even lets Otto enter in the "second door" as the sight of Katarina's ample posterior has been sending him into a frenzy throughout the episode. "Wunderbar!" he exclaims, each time he gazes upon it. Indeed.

Botte D'allegira (Jolly Bangs)
Raffaella (Angela Ferlaino) captivates her husband Ugo (Daniele Ferrari) with tales of her "jolly bangs" (i.e. adulterous affairs) while they vacation on the beach. Despite his apparent outrage, this has the effect of arousing him, and he urges her to continue cheating on him so she can keep telling him stories. She readily agrees, saying that she will continue to be unfaithful "for him". Ah, if only the logic of the softcore world could exist in real life.

Honni soit qui mal y pense (Evil to Him Who Thinks Evil)
Anna and Franco (Maruska Albertazzi and Ricardo Marino) are soon to be married, and he is absolutely starving for anal sex. He buries his face between her butt cheeks and whispers sweet nothings like "What a delight, it smells like the stuffing in the tortellini!" and "What a marvel, sweet like Grandma's cake!" What woman could resist?

She isn't up to it though, thinking he is too big and might hurt her. Franco attempts to get to the bottom of his fiance's reluctance: "I don't understand you. Why can't you take it up the ass?" She promises to reward him once they are married, but those of us who are married know how empty that promise is (just kidding, dear!). She does end up getting it in the end, though.

Dimme porca, che me piaze (Call Me Pig, I Like It)
Federica Palmer and Roberto Giulianelli star as a honeymooning couple in London being watched by a voyeur. The husband knows about it, but thinks his wife is unaware that their nocturnal couplings are being enjoyed by a third party. There's a brief lesbian seduction in a lingerie shop that, despite the atrocious music, starts to heat up nicely before they are so rudely interrupted by the husband. This story is mostly comedic, with the standard nagging wife and submissive husband to banter back and forth and annoy us between sex scenes. The kicker is the ending, where the identity of the voyeuristic "pig" is revealed to be none other than...well, guess you'll have to watch and find out.

Fallo is typical Brass, with his stylistic trademarks such as red and blue mood lighting, fake plastic penises, mirrors on the walls and over beds, and of course, the naturally voluptuous women who provide ample buttocks and bosoms for our viewing pleasure. Despite the cheesy dialog and bad music, there is a lot of fun and semi-explicit sex on hand. This is far from his finest work, but it's hard to say "no" to Tinto. Recommended.
