Hotel Exotica

In the opening segment of Hotel Exotica we get Carly (Landon Hall) standing in front of her mirror, gently caressing her breasts and preparing for an anniversary dinner with her lawyer hubby, Doug (Dutch Flaherty). Of course Doug doesn't show, and when he finally does make it home all sweaty and elated after playing basketball with the boys, she does what any other woman would do in a similar situation: she complains a little bit and then promptly strips off and drains his balls. Oh, to live in the magic land that softcore characters inhabit...
Carly also has a sister, Rachel (Ahmo Hight), who is having man troubles. It seems her significant other, Zeke (Steve Curtis) can't keep his paws off the bodacious bod of Nikki Fritz. So the two sisters together decide to follow the advice of a psychic named Rosa (Taylor St. Clair) and head for the luxurious surroundings of Hotel Exotica. There they are promised a weekend of relaxation, sensuality, and a chance to reflect upon the men in their lives. And we, the viewer, are left to rub our hands together in gleeful anticipation of the inevitable carnality to follow.
Hotel Exotica features a few hot sex scenes, not the least of which are the pairings of Ahmo first with Taylor St. Claire in a slow, highly erotic dream sequence, where Ahmo actually does the splits on a counter top and bends over to offer her netherbits to a curious St. Clair, and a later pairing with Doug's friend and co-worker, Frank (Chris Johnston), in a frenzied attack of lust that has to be seen to be appreciated. Her legs tightly wrap around his hips, her pelvis thrusts upwards hungrily, her hands run over and under his boxer briefs, fingers clawing at his back and hair. Ahmo gets this scene so hot and worked up she literally looks ready to blow.
Nikki Fritz also gets greasy in her one scene with Curtis, a fun romp that has lots of sexy positions and a segment where her shapely bottom is thrust into poor Curtis's face. Poor guy! But Landon Hall simply cannot ignite a candle in this one, appearing stiff and wooden and perhaps just not feeling the chemistry with her co-star. Nor do we particularly care about her troubles with Doug, a character who is about as likeable as a soiled diaper.
All in all this is really an Ahmo movie. Despite the lack of interesting story or characters, she looks sexy everytime she is onscreen and easily steals the spotlight from her co-stars. Not many actresses have the ability to bring an almost animalistic sense of sexual tension to their roles, but she definitely does. In bucketloads. See this one and you'll know what we mean.
