Hooterama 3D

Director Lou Vockell has once again dipped into his substantial archives to bring us another collection of glamour models and porn stars, only this time you can almost reach out and touch the hooters. For Hooterama 3D, there is a pair of 3D glasses included with the DVD. (For those of you with eyes that go a bit buggy when watching 3D, there is also a second disc with a regular 2D presentation.)

For many, this DVD could be a walk down memory lane to the early-mid 90’s, when full-figured, curvy glamour queens stalked the earth. I know the bins in the backroom at Tom’s Video in Vancouver, BC, were once stuffed with these types of videos. I’ve since moved to a less-rainy province, but still have my membership card around here somewhere. (Just in case I get back there, y’know.)

There are some familiar names here, such as Danni Ashe (of course), Glori-Anne Gilbert, and Kimberly Kupps, who looks like she could be a serious cougar contender. Others are lesser known, at least to me, such as Whitney Wonders, Rachel Love, and Heidi, who I suspect were also feature dancers while doing video shoots on the side. And, of course, then there is Lorissa.

It was bittersweet to see my old fave enjoying herself poolside, as she recently passed away after battling a long illness and some tough personal troubles. The extra icing on the cake with this DVD is that it contains a behind-the-scenes featurette with Lorissa being filmed for another scene. A whopping 18 minutes worth of extra Lorissa goodness. As you watch her work you can tell that the innate sweetness she always put across was not an act.

The clips follow the standard formula you see in most glamour-type vids, with the models dancing around, smiling seductively, and taking off their clothes. All of the girls are packing some serious boobage, and in the case of Lilli Xene, some serious bush. The nudity ranges from full to explicit, with a few of the ladies not shy at all about bending over to give you a nice rear view or opening their legs to show you what’s what.

There is no simulated sex or steamy solo action. This is a straight-ahead stripping and posing vid, so we can’t really rate it for eroticism or steaminess. For the most part, the 3D effect is well done, and you might just find yourself reaching out for a squeeze only to grab a handful of the TV screen. Trust me, it is not nearly as soft or as pleasurable.
