Erotic Survivor 2

Although we weren’t especially big fans of the original Erotic Survivor, we are even less enamored of the sequel. Even director John Bacchus seems slightly bored while onscreen, introducing the segments with a deader-than-usual deadpan.

After watching and reviewing the great Playmate of the Apes, it was a bit of a letdown to find that most of E2 was neither funny nor particularly erotic. The cast is mostly made up of unknowns, and while we try not to be too judgemental on this site, these women seemed a bit…well, let’s just say they looked a bit rough around the edges.

The sex scenes themselves are the only redeeming feature of this flick, and while not getting high marks for scorching intensity or explicit nudity, there are enough of them to keep the viewer from zoning completely out. The various contests and filler segments are just unimaginative and seem to lack serious effort or production value. Everything looks made up on the spot and even the sound fades in and out when the wind blows into the mikes. The original had some truly funny moments and outrageous characters that lampooned the TV show, but Erotic Survivor 2 doesn’t aim quite as high.

All in all, not their most polished production, and we can’t really recommend this one. Though there are the usual lesbian gropings and lots of nudity, there is just too much lacking to give it a higher rating.
