Dream Witch

This low-budget independent film comes from Lou Vockell's Creative Productions. It opens with Susan (Chrissy Mountjoy) relaxing in a tub, enjoying the warm suds and fantasizing about a mystery man, who unfortunately only seems interested in caressing her naked body and not doing much else. Chrissy has the prototypical stripper body - a tight, toned physique topped with large implants, and boy does she look good wearing those tight clothes (when she is wearing clothes, that is).

Her friends (Glori-Anne Gilbert, Dana Leigh, and Savannah Powers) arrive to celebrate her birthday and start swapping boyfriend stories before the conversation drifts to their sexual fantasies. The first involves a common rape fantasy, the sort of scene that starts out with mild resistance to the masked intruder's advances and then ends with her being overcome with desire and submitting completely.

As the nerdy Pamela, Glori-Anne looks very cute and frumpy in her glasses and denim overalls. Her story about a bathroom handjob is cut short by the taunting of the other girls and she leaves the room upset, crying she would give anything to be like the others. (We'd give anything to be in that bathroom with Glori-Anne, but that's a different story.)

Enter the Dream Witch, a leather-clad Melissa Wolf, who seduces the hapless Pamela into a Faustian dreamworld where fantasy blends with reality. Pamela trades her denim coveralls for some white lace lingerie and the two girls devour each other on the bed as the obligatory softore guitar rock chugs away in the background. This has the effect of transforming her into a "homicidal, sex-crazed lesbian" (the seduction, not the music).

Next, Pamela takes on the incarnation of the Dreamwitch and ravages Jennifer (Savannah Powers) in the shower, an erotic scene with some borderline "extra-mile" footage as Melissa hungrily laps at Savannah's clapper. The ravaging ends with Jennifer falling to the floor dead, another poor hapless victim of homicidal, sex-crazed lesbianism.

The next two scenes feature a pillow fight that never moves beyond the playful, and a solo scene with a mystery girl (Tylo Duran) pleasuring herself during one of her quiet moments. Some hand in the panties action is as explicit as it gets, but it's still nice.

Pamela gets it on with a pre-arranged "date" (Eric Davis), a real jerk who shows up for the "ride of his life" but is promptly rewarded with strangulation and (perhaps) an implied castration. But he did have Glori-Anne riding him hard for a few minutes, so it was likely worth it. At least he died happy.

Next, Susan is back in the tub for some self-love, and Pamela slips in to join her. But before things can get too hot and heavy, Pamela transforms into the Dream Witch and we are left to imagine what happened to poor Susan. As for Pamela, her fate is all but certain...

My biggest complaint with Dream Witch is the lacklustre video and sound quality. The picture is very grainy at times, with noticeable distortions and "noise", especially in scenes where the Witch appears. The audio also suffers some problems, with a lack of normalization and continuity between shots, fades, echos, and audible hiss. It's low-budget, sure, but one can't help wishing the sound and video were given more attention.

Overall, Dream Witch might be short on production quality, but is definitely an eye-candy feast for fans of big-boobed glamour queens.
