Torchlight flicks have always been kinda hit and miss with us, but this one cranks up the heat right from the opening masturbation scene with Brianna Banks right up to the end credits. And with hot Latina babe Mindy Vega in a supporting role, this flick comes armed with enough eye candy and steaming hot action to keep any viewer interested.
Christy (Brianna Banks) and Erma (Mindy Vega) visit a special club called Aphrodisia, where they are free to indulge their pleasures. The hostess (Heidi Klein) wastes no time showing Erma just how the club works as she ravishes one of the house boys (Bobby Vitale) on the sofa, leaving Erma to watch and slide her hands beneath her sexy red dress. As with any Torchlight flick, there are camera angles that linger too long and some obvious editing flaws, but overall this was a decent scene with some nice realistic moaning from Klein.
Now that she is all tuned up, it’s Erma’s turn to be pleasured. Another houseboy appears to take care of her, and as he goes down on her it suddenly occurs to me that maybe it’s time to evaluate “houseboy” as a legitimate career move. Despite Vega’s considerable physical appeal (and it is considerable), this scene never really takes off, and the music softens to a Zamfir flute-like piece that almost put us to sleep. When Vega is finally allowed to moan, and we hear the heavy breathing and the sounds of slapping flesh, it seems too little too late. Yeah right, who are we kidding? We watched every second.
Sweet merciful Christ. The lesbian scene between Christy and the hostess is a scorcher. There isn’t an inch of flesh that tongues, fingers, and lips do not touch and explore. With deep tongue kissing, very realistic oral, and the sounds of sweat, spit, and slapping flesh drowning out the music for a change, this scene completely stokes the coals of erotic heat. The two women devour each other in a scene that pushes softcore to the limits.
Erma’s hubby James (Frank Anthony) shows up and is quickly distracted by Christy after hearing what he is sure is his wife moaning in ecstacy in a nearby room. It takes about one second for James to forget all about that as Christy’s tongue slides into his mouth and they head over to the sofa for a passionate make-out session.
The copyright date on this movie is 2003, so we wonder why it took so long to reach DVD. Maybe they are going to release more of these kinds of titles? Who knows, but we will definitely be keeping an eye out. If you like your softcore with a more raw, porno-esque feel, and can forgive the bad dialog and lacklustre story, this one will heat you up just fine.

Are there two versions of this? Amazon is apparently selling the R-rated version…
It seems the Amazon copy is missing 3 minutes of footage (87 mins compared to 90 min). You can try this link:

Thanks Brian. I wonder if Amazon is just more specific with the actual runtime, instead of the “approx 90″ minutes that other sites are claiming? I can’t find this 87 minute version listed anywhere else…
Alright, I got the DVD from Amazon and it is indeed the “real” version. It is 87 minutes long. So their website is half-right. I don’t even know where they got the R rating from.
Anyway, this is definitely a hot movie. I’m a fan of Mindy Vega, but she’s the weakest out of all the girls here, unfortunately.
The review here has an error in the Briana Banks plays the hostess and Heidi Klein plays Mindy’s friend.
My two favorite scenes are Heidi’s masturbation scene and Briana’s first sex scene (with a guy).
That particular Briana scene appears to be hardcore; they’re really doing it and it shows in her face. You can definitely catch a few glimpses of the guy’s (engorged) shaft pumping in and out of her. There’s some nicely-blocked titty-fucking, which is obviously a rarity in softcore.
The girl-girl scene with Briana and Heidi is great too. Mindy’s fuck scene and the last fuck scene featuring Heidi are a little weaker.
Overall, a great piece of softcore with a few seconds of hardcore slipped in (pun intended). Definitely worth the money, and I would give it a solid 4 stars.
